Thread: Horde needs more...?

  1. #1

    Question Horde needs more...?

Just wondering and was hoping to get some insight from the hordies on this server.

Which class do you feel the horde suffers the biggest shortage of?

I myself made a priest alt as I believe them to be in constant short supply and maybe could help out with some of the endgame stuff when he hits 60

But would like to hear what the horde think they really need more of.
    Thodnar - 60 Dwarfen Priest
Tholasan - 53 Night Elf Rogue
    Telko - 36 Gnome Mage
    Kaslo - 36 Undead Priest
    Belmak - 32 Gnome Warrior

"I'm a little ninja short and stout, I grab all the loot and hearthstone out.
All the people on ventrillo scream and shout, I'm the hunter in full devout!"

Yeah, we also like someone to bubble up and HS out.

    Naah, sorry about that.
But truth is, we don't want pallies, if we did we would play alliance.

Mages and priests are what the horde needs atm, or that's my opinion based on the general LF announcements in orgri.

I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of a ruling class... Especially since I rule!

Warriors that don't join instance groups with bows and a 2-hander and expect to tank. Priests that arent in shadow form. Mages that dont attempt to out-do the warlocks on the damage meter. Warlocks that dont try to outdo the mages on the damage meter. Rogues that dont try to stealth past pairs of level 63 Molten Giants. Shamen that dont try to claim +crit armour so they can melee a 200 crit, Druids with more than 1 button on their interface, and hunters that dont shoot first, pet later. Thats what the Horde need more of.

Indeed the spell casters do need to be a bit more aggrowise.
The same goes for the Hunters.

That said my only other comment is this...
the plural of Shaman is Shaman... there is nothing in this world thats named Shamen =)

Oh one FINAL comment... Hunters is the ones that shouldn't get crit gear (except for PvP matters that is).
Because really... Hunters should isntead go for a substained really high DPS, not crits. Aggropulling Hunters are just as bad as aggropulling mages/warlocks/rogues =) Get high end attack power items instead.
Over time and in instances they'll help you more, and cause less wipes.
Have had a level 60 hunter for quite some time, so ain't a complete n00b on the area

Swan, you mentioned rogues that shouldnt try to stealth past lvl 63 molten giants, just to be a pain, a rogue with 5 points in MOD can stealth past them with no trouble
Ant has no epix, he likes to wear green and blues

Actually, the crits are a great deal of the amount of damage we produce. I'd suck at damage if I didn't have my crits. 250-300 damage every 2.2 seconds wont make anyone happy. Better then to have every fifth hit for 800ish.

DM gear with crits have roughly the same ranged attack power as beaststalker, but with 3-4 % more crits. IMHO, beaststalker sucks. Then again, I'm not using DM stuff anymore in mc, I like my black dragonscale suit. Just wish there was a black dragonscale helmet - the backwood helm is sooo ugly.

And, with feign death, we shouldnt ever pull aggro. It's just that.. some hunters need to fd more often, and wait longer for aggro buildup (no names)

Important note: Feign before you pull aggro, not after! You need to stay awake and realize that if you just crit three times in a row, you must fd (or stop shooting if fd's resisted).
