Do you enjoy raiding?
Are you the quiet, proactive type?
Do you raise your eyebrow at people who act as though epics were all that and a bag of chips?
Tired of people who see through purple-tinted glasses?
Equilibrium, a new raiding guild on the Dragonblight server, has at last opened its recruitment doors and we are seeking new members to add to our current complement as we strive to make headway into some rich, 40-man content. We are mostly ex-Pantheon Blade members (among others) who have come together to form an entirely new guild with initiative.
Equilibrium is newly-formed, therefore our website is not 100% complete at this moment. We are working as fast as we can to meet our deadlines, but in the meantime there is plenty of reading material as well as an application form on our forum:

Background, Motto, and Purpose
Equilibrium is a guild founded on the principles of equality and fairness to all members as they strive to achieve goals in a friendly, yet structured guild environment. We are composed of longtime WoW players, from varying backgrounds and ideals, and are proud of the various traditions, play styles, efforts, and ethics each member brings to the table.
Who are we? We classify ourselves as a serious raiding guild. Not a hardcore raiding guild. The difference is that we strive for excellence in a much more relaxed, independent, and equal environment than some hardcore raiding guilds on our server. We rely on our members' mutual desire for achievement as our greatest source of propulsion to move us forward, rather than employ overly strict, harsh rules which can make players feel they are guilded to a dictatorship rather than a community.
Our motto is to strive to maintain a level of professionalism in our conduct and playing without sacrificing the primary element of fun. We will not tolerate any player attempting to 'steam roll' over another through transparent and selfish acts of oneupmanship. WoW is a game to us, not a means to boast status or achievement, therefore we appreciate the effort of our players more than the 'physical' rewards gained (epics).We expect our members to behave as they would wish to be treated: with honesty, compassion, fairness, and forgiveness.
Equilibrium's Honor System
Our Honor System sets a new standard in raiding, with which we trust that each member will behave fairly and selflessly when it comes to the possible acquisition of loot in 20-man instances. More information about the Honor System can be found on our website. (http://www.equilibrium-guild.co.uk)
Recruitment
We are primarily a guild of level 60 characters, and our main focus will be raiding. All recruits, if accepted, are expected to move any level 60 alts into Equilibrium after their initial trial period. We will not appreciate characters spread out over multiple guilds.
We limit our recruiting to level 60's but we do accept all alts who are under 60. Since we are a raiding guild we will not tolerate any unfair pressure from under 60s to be power leveled. We expect all members who wish to level up alts to operate as self-sufficiently as possible.
We are an equal opportunity guild in many respects. We will not force people into a certain specialization. However, we reserve the right to selectively recruit from a pool of applicants who have the more desirable gear/spec/raiding experience to suit our current need. We will review all applications thoroughly and in most cases applicants will be offered a trial period of two weeks, during which time the Council and other members will assess his/her compatibility with Equilibrium.
Criteria
You:
Are an active player (available for raiding at least 3-4 evenings a week).
Are geared with at least decent blues for your class, but ideally partial if not all Tier 1 or comparable.
Work well with others in an online community.
Show considerable desire to better your skills in challenging encounters.
Value hard work and determination far above the acquisition of loot.
Value friendships and fun times far above the acquisition of loot.
Are willing to use Teamspeak.
Are a good listener and able to follow instructions.
Are able to conduct yourself maturely and professionally under pressure.
Have good reading/writing comprehension of the English language.
Are willing to follow Equilibrium's Code of Conduct (see Equilibrium Information Desk forum).
