First off; by making this thread I am in no way trying to boost my ego etc. etc. etc. (you know the drill)

The question follows, due to me completing this set, "How many hunters on the horde side have finished this set?"

You may be wondering why asking such a thing? Well, I have been told but not certified that I might be the 2nd or 3rd hunter to finish the set on the Horde side.

I haven't seen many hunter hop around and the only one I know with the complete set on the Horde side of our server is Morphox.
I know I have been extremely lucky and didnt waste more then 20 runs on certain items. Items like the cap dropped on my first Scholo raid.

So Horde Hunters rejoice :)

Sincerely yours,
Zorkos

I haven't bothered completing the set as I found it to be inferior to my current PvP gear.

I believe Uggakk also has the full set for quite a while.

Sildiara almost got the full Giantstalker set :) (well still needs 3 item's)

Giantstalker will be the next step, although it's a slow process collecting these items. With the 7 days cooldown on the bosses.

I really like the set and compared to my green outfit when I reached 60 I ganed over 600hp and 2 or 300 mana. (Don't have the correct numbers)

Also Due too collecting non-set items like 2x Bone Slicing Hatchets and 2x Tarnished Evlen Ring give a nice agility boost.

I think Uggakk is missing the pants..?
Not sure, though.

Either way, congratulations on the set, Zorkos :)
I never went for the BS set. I mean, I was about to, but then I got into some DM instance runs and got that stuff instead. Never could motivate myself to get the BS after that.

Mad props for hanging in there for the boss drops, baron, gandling, drakkisath and wyrmthalak.

And deadwish, the full set is far away yet. I need to focus on rebuilding my economy for a while :)

Got 6 Peices now of th GS set.

And -250 DKP.....helps when your the only hunter on a raid and every other boss drops a GS peice :)

Started goign for BS set, but after 19 Baron runs and no boots dropping i went to DM with guildies and got a fair amount of +crit stuff....so kinda evened out.

I'm not sure about Uggakk missing his pants, actually I don't wanna know or visualize this :)

About the blue class sets in general.
Since Blizzard added DM I think most end game players prefer this gear compaired to the class sets. The class set bonus are mainly one big joke and the possibility to get some epic stuff being lvl 60 for a while is quite a fair chance. Then you loose focus on the class sets and prefer a mix of nice blues and add a couple of crafted epics. Well that's my opinion.

29 runs before elements shoulders in UBRS, no vest yet >.<

Anyhow, I think Tiller was missing the boots only or something in that manner, he'll prolly post here and correct me anyhow.

'grats Zorkos - screenshot FtW! :)

I think Swanny is 1 peice away from his set too.

The class set bonus are mainly one big joke...

Agreed - and set bonuses aside, the magisters set is just plain poop!
There's far better items (for me at least) that take half the time to farm - I guess i was lucky with drops to get them in the first place though.

But they took up too much bank space, so got dis'd a few weeks back :) (Other than the bracers)

I think Skullbasher has the full set, but now uses even better items ;)

It took me 26 runs to get DM shoulders and 28 runs to have DM mask drop, only for me to lose the roll to a lvl58, I stopped trying after that. Surely, they should give you some items for persistance! Waiting for a long time to see it drop then lose on it is heartbreaking. :frown:

I have the full Shadowcraft set, as well as the Champions pvp set, but what i really need is a hug :)

I feel your pain as far as the running the same instance goes, took me 30 UBRS runs to get ma dalrend mainhand, and after 10 or so runs, once we had killed rend and he didnt drop the sword, the last 2/3 of the instance became so boring and an absolute pain in the bum :S

I also did about 20 -25 DM tribute runs in the last few weeks to try and get my ace (finally got it a few days ago), big thanks to ma guildies who i dragged along most times :)

Unfortunatly repetitivness is a big part of the game and it sucks, but the feeling you get when the item you need finally drops is like...... (insert feelings here lol)

So after many months of grinding all the instances, i finally never have to step foot in them again for loot :D yey

ps i really dont know why i started this reply, seemed like a good idea at the time, but hell anything seems like a good idea after you have been drinking bud :)
