Didn't even know what had happend.
When I woke up I sat down in front of my computers and started working, when I took a break and checked the forum I noticed this post and that made me check on the local newspapers websites. Jesus christ, this is just to scary.
My thoughts are with the victims.

You should think what if one of the victims was your brother, syster, mother or your dearest, loved person, and you'll feel a thousand less pain than anyone involved, who loosed someone dear in such cowardly attacks.

That's two of the affected stations.
Just talked to our guy in London, according to him there wasn't this much to sense or see from the Tube but for black smoke.

I was coming down the A13 in Essex towards the QE2 bridge, and it was on the matrix saying that London was closed, thought it was just for celebrations for the olympics or something :? The message told u to turn on the radios, so we did, to find about this
I have a friend from work, and his wife is working in London, and he cant get hold of her either...this is really bad
My thoughts go out to all the victims and their family and friends.

Its most likely because the phones are jammed/re-routed for emergancy services.
Hope she is ok though mate.
Lucky my dad wasnt in london today, still cant get it to sink in properly.

Not one I've heard. I work for a bank in offices near Aldgate tube station - our security people advised us to stay in the complex and not go outside but that was general advice because being in a building is safer underr the circumstances (unless there's a bomb in that building of course)
It meant I had to have lunch in our fairly crappy canteen rather than go out to a decent sandwich shop... but as that's the worst that happened to me I can count myself extremely lucky. I got into London soon after 9 and found the Underground closed so I walked to the office - looked like half the Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service were camped outside Aldgate tube station, but I didn't find out what was going on until I got into the office.
As others have said - my sympathy to those affected by this act of infamy, and I can personally only pray to get jury service when the individuals responsible are brought to justice.

Just got back from work, no-one has been able to do anything, we were all too busy watching the updates :( our mobile network was shut down for emergency calls only but at the time i left the congestion had started to clear up if anyone needs to call anyone in London they should be able to connect now.

Ok i've got home (no problems, though the M20 was a bit busier than normal) and been watching the bbc news. I dunno if i can express how i feel properly in words but i'll try.
Watching the scenes was really shocking, i've walked down those roads, travelled on the trains...recognised the buildings :? I cant tell you the emotions that i felt watching that :(.I couldn’t imagine what it was like for the people there, my heart goes out to anyone who was involved.
One thing that made me proud to be British was the emergency services. They responded brilliantly, swiftly and calmly. Managed to keep things very organized even through complete chaos, and the even the normal everyday Londoners kept there heads together more than could be asked from anyone!
Dont know why i wrote this, just had to put the things in my head down.

And the emergency response was really amazing! Good thing they actually organized all those exercises recently. Woulda been better the experience wasn't needed tho ofc...

A friend of mine who works in the area said he saw an arab preaching on the streets before the attack happened :?
A cowinsidence maybe?
tobad things like this happen .. why can't they just kill those responsible for it (don't mean the poeple that bombed) ... and still its strange if it happens in Europe it hurts when it happens in someother part in the world alot further it seems to only get us say some stupid reaction .. in some countries this happens every week or more ... really bad it has to happen but it'll always happen since its human nature those seaking for power will want more and can't always see they're doing something wrong (maybe they can and don't care) would even more like it that i died myself then i should lose a friend/familly that way ... but its usseles to bomb the poeple that can't do too mutch about it should .. only causes more hated and sorrow .. so it'll never end .. tobad if this problem ever get solved it would be like an unbelieveble long time look at history .. can't even think what happened there .. all those stupid things humans can do unbelievable .. and seems always some religion to justifice the bad stuff ... and poeple can still believe in them even if they proved they don't do what they're suppossed to do .. just look at all of them you prolly find bad stuff for all of them (maybe some exceptions) ...
really hope noone knows anyone that died or got hit .. you don't want to feel the sorrow and anger it gives ...

I agree with Rond.
No thing has killed more people than religion. It's a shame people can't live together in peace just because they believe in different things and have different opinions. But then again, thats humanity in a nutshell. Sad, but true....

I was in America on my holiday when it happened, so I didn't hear about it until late afternoon. Luckily nobody I knew was hurt or knew of anyone who was, but I feel so sorry for all those who lost family or friends simply because someone thought that it was alright to kill in the name of God.
The latest, I think, is that it was 4 English-Pakistanis from Leeds? who got on a train at Luton. They got into the underground and tried to go in each direction of the compass but the guy who was supposed to go north couldn't get on the line, hence the bomb being let off in a bus. The police have closed Luton station and are examining a vehicle there.
I just find it shocking that people can murder others and say that it is the word of God. Speaking as an aetheist, if they had some proof of this "word of God", things would be different. But as it is, I don't see why your particular religion is so much better and more true than anyone else's. How can you say that one is better than the other when there is absolutely no proof of either existing at all? Religion can bring purpose and hope to people's lives - I have a friend who is a devout Christian and spends all of her time doing youth and charity work for no pay and a lot of hassle - this is what I think religion should be about. Helping others - not killing innocents.

What i really dont like is the directed malice back at a whole race on the actions of small sects or rebellious instigation groups,to make the world reflect on your people , its almost as bad as the killing itself.

Im about 20 mins from aldgate......
first thing i heard about it was about an hour of sirens wailing past me on the A12 in romford from rush green and oldchurch hospital en route to the scene.
i was supposed to be at work that day but had a delay the day before due to the kitchen fitters so i had a day off. dont use the circle line (central from newbury park) but i woulda been on the same northern line train as the bus bomber according to the closures times.
mother foned me completely sick with worry, and my stepdad locked up the shop at smithfield early and went home.
absolutely shocking.
still like a week and a half on you get the shits standing on a packed 5 o clock tube just wondering ...
not nice at all...
and to think the last job i was on was a muslim school just next to brick lane. the guys round there were pretty cool and were always stoppin to chat etc. sad sad day for everyone i think

Even if it weren't 'serious' in that sense, it's still pretty damn serious :/
Saddest thing is no matter how strict and sophisticated the security system/measures, there's really no way to escape and stop such things.

yet another group of people going into a town with the intention of proving theyre better than everyone by killing bystanders, and trying to get away before the shit hits the fan. total cowardice.
its poxy enough having to travel thru central london every day wondering if your gonna get stuck in a tunnel for 3 hours without the extra worry of being blown to pieces. but you gotta keep going, or they win. its that simple =/
