...did it take you to get to 60?

Got just curious now. As I know some people manage to do that in a matter of just a couple of played weeks.

I myself am a really slow leveler, took me approx. 28 played days to reach 'the top of the world'. I've been playing the char since Feb 11, almost every evening/day at least for some hours. Still got no alt, so all my time has been dedicated to this one so far.

So, what is the speed record and 'antirecord' on our lovely server? :)

Well i know Macros was 60 2-3 weeks after the game came out :shock:

Me personally, i'm 55 and at 20 days played, started playing the game a week after release and no alts :) think i should hit 60 before 28 days anyway :P

I’ve been playing Deadwish for about 12days and my old main character Tuinhark about 8-9days.
Still got a lvl 16 hunter, lvl 24 rogue and a lvl 6 mage but don’t know how much time I spent on them.

Think it took me around 12-13days played time to get Alessan to 60. I expect the figure will be much less for Daolyth, who is nearly lvl 40 and only 3 days played.

It always goes quicker the second time in these games, because you know the optimal order to do quests and the like in. Plus having a lvl60 alt can make farming for items go a hell of a lot faster.

I now realise just what loads of time i'm spending chatting to all sides in-game :D

Not that I don't like it or regret it tho. I had great fun leveling to 60, I'm having great fun now, and socialising (heavy socialising for that matter) is the essential thing that I like most about this game. ;)

I've actually had days (evenings to be more precise :D) when I'd log in and then log out after some 5 or more hours without having even moved out of say IF or somewhere else – would just have chatted all the time.. Oh well, you can't really blame a gal for chatting a tad too much, can you :P :oops: :roll:

something like 13 days gametime, but that was with a lot of rested xp.
I moved to a place where I didn't have any internet connection (remedied now), so the few times I could play (at my bro's place) I could play pretty much on constant rested.

Remember once it was the hordes fisrt run into MC, and there was a small group just standing round Endymion listining to her, so she could update us on how it was going lol.

All I know is that it took me longer than a lot of the initial priests (you know, before everyone realized how FUN and NECESSARY it was to play a priest and started to grind alts :P). I was doing a lot for my guild simultaneously... hmm I think it took me about 3-4 weeks... maybe less. I don't remember and didn't really keep track.

I had about 20 days played when I reached 60 I think. So no powerlevler here ;) Im the kind that idles ALOT ingame, just chatting or checking AH etc. I remember I used a lot of playtime to help others instead of getting to 60 myself in that period. On horde, Gunnar, Jingah, Itaque, Tchort and I where the first 60s. Gunnar and Jingah got there a couple days before Ita, Tchort and I got to 60 during a timespan of about 24hours.

12 days to get to 60 here, but then I have always been something of a powergamer and not one to sit around chatting. The fastest I have heard of so far is Gigamo with 9 (!) days to reach level 60. He has admitted he owed a lot of it to having a dependable, well-balanced 5-man party available pretty much all the time.

Edit: And to answer a question, I personally believe questing is the fastest way to get experience, but you have to be careful about it and do the quests you can handle quickly. Killing 20 fast-respawning mobs in your range for good exp and then handing it in for a 2000-10000 boost is a great quest - spending two and a half hours looking for an NPC you have to talk to isn't all that cool.

so... damn him :)

Then again, I also spent quite a while around then bugging the alliance in duskwood for a few laughs (hours and hours actually)... that was before the horrible honor patch tho :) (Seriously - how many people will fall for a simple lowbie kill sitting in the middle of the path? :lol: )

he went 60 in EU final beta anyway.

21 days myself, im 58.
soloed like 90%, and have gone on instance exp since 56.

got a lvl 38 and a 22.

started playing 2 weeks after release.

Youre a druid, not really known for a high killrate (If you did solo alot that is) :wink:

hehe true true :). One good thing is i never had to grind ;) quests and instances all the way :D
