If you are seeing this then you have transitioned to the shiny new webserver.
If you can't see this then and or maybe so there!
Server is still based out of frankfurt germany, but now has more ram, more drive space more processing powah and more other things, its also ona better network connection....so speedier downloads!
Everything should already be working here, if anyone spots any problems, please leave a message in this thread and i'll fix it asap!.

Games servers are doable, but sadly, cost more moolah :(
As i can't use my webserver for hosting games :(

First of all thanks for keeping this place like an oiled machine Poag. We owe you.
As for game servers, we have quite a solid community on this forum, eventhough WoW is getting older. Maybe for the sake of the forum and keeping old school players around it could be an option to make a group of people who all donate a bit of money to set up one of these moolah servers. It could be a bit of a hassle to set it up, but it could be a way for our community to 'grow'.
Just a thought.

Such a thing is doable. However having done such things in the past and run awfoul i am, mmm unsure of it.
To get a decent games server, low ping connections lots of bandwidth etc.
The people I normally get servers hosted with in the UK charge about £70 per month for a decent server. Dual core AMD 4200 2 gigs ram etc etc.
Although as we are spread all over europe a server anywhere in europe is pretty much good for us.
I'll have a shop around today and see if i can find a reasoonably priced server.

I vote for a custom WoW Gany server with stoeled server values and GM abilities.

Would be oh so handy to learn those tricky boss fights.
