Pentaverate address

OK firstly new to these boards, i know of them but have never been involved in them.

Reason i am here is to address some issues both on the server and on this forum.

The guild Pentaverate was created on 26th Oct ( in the AM all memebrs unguilded in the 25th )

Since then it HAS killed ( under the name pentaverate )

Al'Ar
Astromancer Solarian
Voidreaver

Various karazhan bosses in the afternoons and multiple 1% leo the blinds.

These are not guild alliances or combined efforts they are done under one name in accordance with wowjitsu rankings.

Recent animosity and underhanded attempts at finding some dirt / secrets from inside the guild have been fruitless and they will continue to be.

If anyone has any issues with us they can take it up with us instead of trying to discredit our kills on forums...... while we are at it corpse run recruited off server rogue during update of raid instances and thus have a marked Lady vashj kill..... when everyone on DB knows they have not...... therefore there rank on wowjitsu is false / fake etc.

Not saying they done it deliberately.

Also t3m is a big part of DB and discrediting there efforts as an alliance may have some logic to it, but we do not fall into this catagory and nor do these kills.

Also our ranking on wowjitsu is being held down below other alliance guilds because of karazhan bosses anyone who believes for a second that people capable of killing all bosses in SSC and TK; except vashj / Kael in first week of a new guild needs there head check......

Basicly from what I know some people claim the kills Pentaverate made as an indipendent Guild "don't count" because the new Guild would have experience with the first bosses in SSC and TK (Lurker and Void Reaver or so).

Also getting arguements on that matter from Corpse Run or so (no idea why though, jealous maybe?)
Discreditting kills by comments like "Yeah but that kill doesn't count, you guys weren't a Guild by then just 2 Guilds working together". In our defense (a position we're suddenly being driven to) Sunsword brought in T3M (The Revenants, Resurrectable and Most Wanted Postals) as an alliance and nobody making comments on them not making kills as 1 Guild.

It sounds silly and it started silly but it just has to stop as we don't deserve this kind of abuse by killing bosses.

Just to clarify:

We're the Pentaverate, a new raiding Guild on Dragonblight (Alliance side) aiming for high-end PvE content with a current progression Sunsword posted above in one and a half week of our existence.

I don't really see why people care whether you chaps' kills 'counted' or not? I mean, you got them down, so surely that's the important part, not what random oiks in the community randomly decide to count or not? Dunno, but I think you just got more attention to the subject this way than just ignoring the people that criticize you.

On a sidenote: who takes Wowjutsu literally anyway? .. we show up higher as well because we got some recruits that used to be hardcore and decided to take a step back and join us. And that happens to a lot of guilds, no guild is entirely "clean" when it comes to that. What you do under the new tags is what counts.

Anyway, I think I understand your frustration but don't let the bad words hurt you. In the end having fun with your new guild and facing challenges together is what counts, not what a silly minority of the realm thinks or does not think about you...

Er...what? Please point out to me the anti-Pentaverate posts on these boards because i seem to be blind. I can only see http://dragonblight.gany.net/showthread.php?t=15249 which was de-railed in one post (completely standard procedure here btw) and http://dragonblight.gany.net/showthread.php?t=14587 in which you've quite clearly been added to the kill list as a guild.

I've not seen anyone trying to discredit you here, but please point out the posts if i'm wrong.

I'm pretty sure most people find Wowjitsu a nice gimmick. Its nice to see where you stand, but not 100% accurate and people wont cry over a few points or rank (unless its totally clear you should be in the top spots whats the point anyway), and again I haven’t seen anyone use that against your guild, or any guild here for that matter.

Going "lol who are u?!??" isn't really a constructive reply. The guild's formation was noted on these forums by the right honourable TMD just this week, and both The Mini Inquisition and Is Better Than You were established DB guilds. Within a week of merging, Pentaverate have killed bosses that neither guild had killed on it's own previously, so it's pretty baseless and asinine to say that they don't deserve credit for the kills.

Agree, who cares about rankings anyway? Surely this game is about fun with your friends and progressing at a rate that suits?
