Site Changes

As some of you know, and others should have known by now.

I dont play WoW anymore, so this is my leaving thread and some news.

Firstly i left, blah blah yeah games not fun anymore, not played in 2/3 months and not feeling the urge blah blah, more later.

Secondly. Maska is the new adminstrator of the forums, he has all the powers I have so problems should be directed towards him now ;)

If theres anything maska needs he can poke me a number of ways :P

The forums are still hosted by me, upgrades and additions will be done by me as/when I have time.

I have picked up a few new projects for community sites so i'll be busy :) DBForum really was my first foray into the Community site landscape and the site evolved as a part of that. Until the site becomes a ghost town I will continue to keep it hosted, I hope it keeps running for along time :) It is however up to you guys and girls to attract more and new people to the forums to keep them lively and interesting places :)

Addtions and things, direct them into the forum additions thread, and also via maska/votan or PM :)

There is also a new downloads section to the forum, which requires less input from me, so use it will and host your stuff! Attachemtns should also work once again.

So Poag is no more in WoW, after BC I got bored of the game very rapidly.

I wish everyone I met on my travels, from the earliest days to the last hours, a log future in the game if it keeps there fancy, anyone is welcome to add me on MSN or any other IM client i use [check my profile;)]

I am off in the lands of Middle Earth at current on Snowbourn server [Poagil and Oena are me], but I also tend to fight terrorists and Germans/Zombies.

Hi Poag,

Never really met in game but thanks for all the effort on this forum its much appreciated.

Blizzard do seem to have driven away a great many players with TBC I kinda think that was not their intention.

I think I saw you on Snowbourne over the weekend I recognised the name Poagil :-D

I too am on the snowbourne server:

Jeddak (hunter got to lvl 8 then saw every othe player was a Hunter)
Sugargirl (supposed to be alt but now lvl 7 Champion)

The game seems ok but on the 24th if its like any other MMORPG on launch day it will be lagged to death.

I finally got crafting sorted and am happy to see that you can make money by crafting gear that you find/get in drops unlike WoW at present the raw materials are not more expensive than the end product :grin:

Take care Poag, i came late to the forums but they're provided many an intelligent and insightful conversation, from the history of Bosnia to Maska's preferences, and as McDark said, they're a hell of alot better than the other forums :) I'm sure your ingame friends will miss you somewhat, i've only ever seen you the odd time in the T3M chan, but for the forums, i thank you.

Thanks for all the time and effort you have put into the Dragonblight forum, in my opinion it's a hell of alot better than the "Offical" Dragonblight forum - and probably always will be.

Dont forget if your in early release you need both the early release key and the actual release key (when your game arrives) to get the free items.
