Well, I've tried to talk to the guy who started the thread but he tends to talk about everything but the things I take up in my posts.

Looks like he can't come up with any good arguments so he just badmouth FADER instead of actually admitting that I might have a point in what I say in that thread.

No one except that guy says anythin negative in that thread and no one has contacted me or any other officer of FADER in-game to talk it over.

If any of you have had problems with us in FADER and think we behave like we think we own the horde-side and are elitist assholes let me know. :)

Yeah, I'm done posting there as well.
I didn't give up on the guy until now. I thought he might actually try to listen as I really made an effort to solve the issues but it seems it's all about badmouthing us, claiming that everyone that is on "our side" are wannabees and arse-kissers and just not giving a rats ass about coming to an understanding.

Still no contact from anyone in-game about the whole thing.
Well, that's not all true. I was online for 30 minutes and in that time one person from some guild I never encountered before whispered me and said he thought the whole thing was bollocks and that neither he or anyone from his guild ever had any problems with us or heard of other players who has.

Then I got 3 whispers from 3 different persons from 3 different guilds (not TDO, TD or DS) who asked if I had the time to help out in DM, DM and Sunken Temple (to bad I have to go out in about an hour) so they obviously haven't had any problems with FADER as well.

I guess it's time the drop the whole thing since no one from "the other side of the story" feels like talking about it.

Just been reading the new bits in there, and it just seems like he skirts around the decent posts and goes straight for the one's that he can make insults out of. Just sounds like an upset kiddy :roll: and who is this `us`...

Any guild that can organize themselves out of a paper bag, and do MC has my respect :)

This poster on EU-General, well at least he gives us some good laughts :) I've been trying to provoke the guy/gal a little to see where It would lead, but as always it doesnt go anywhere really worthwhile. Only reason I ever posted on the thread was that I felt slightly offended on FADERs behalf, I mean I've been playing with some of the them every now and then for 3-4 months now, and all they've ever shown was friendly behaviour, good humour and awesome luck with the dice o_0 Even indicating that they think themselves anything über-elite is kinda scewed from the beginning. Makes me kinda sad that someone have to pick out people that way to let out his anger and frustration out on in "public", even if in a somewhat disguised way.

Also I feel that ever starting to discuss guilds and/or individuals that way, is picking the wrong lane on the freeway. It will only lead to anger and hard words and ruin the quite friendly and helpefull horde we got on DB (it has definitely got worse since the "early days", I dont think anyone really wants a total shitkid lamer community). Thats what really worries me.

That's excactly what I think.
I noticed he never once commented on a complete post of mine, guess it's kind of hard when a) It consist of more than 10 rows of text and b) has some good points to it.

He just goes about picking up pieces of what people write and make it into something negative instead of actually trying to listen.

My guess, one of the former members of FADER that we kicked out beacuse they have serious problems with commiting to our rules of behaviour (in particullary speaking english in the mainchat and not being offensive towards other players) or perhaps someone from a guild that one of our members is a former meber of.

We have a member that was in another guild before ours but he left that guild befor we talked to him about reqruiting him so I don't think we "stole" him or anything but that's maybe not how they see it.

Either way, the OP in the general forum is not trying at all to make things better, only worse.

Yeah, i read that thread too. Most of what the OP says or replies to is twisted in some way, and frankly i don't believe a single word of it.

I guess its like alliance and Kindred in some respects - people hate them because they are succesful.

And like lyara said in the main thread, people tend to group with people they know and trust before getting in outsiders...its life :roll: i really cant think of any guild who would drop people they know, and have perfected playing with for an outsider through a random begging invite :). Saying that i've been grouping with members of Red Band recently because of these messages boards, they invited me on an instance run and all worked out well and done more since, so it does sometimes work :D (but if they are in these boards then they get more trust from me automatically).

Also would just like to say Macros is ninja looter! :P

(and thanks for the help, and putting up with my lag, disconnects, interface resetting its self, and other random problems that would only appear when i'm grouping with you of all people lol)
