I got revered weeks ago by my own effort. The only semi-reason I can find to go exalted is the dreamscale breastplate, but the chest is bop when made, and I'm not going to farm my way up there to maybe make a halfcrap chestplate once.

On the contrary, now I use the texts to try and get scepter scrolls from that POS hermit.

While farming texts, I also got runecloth, and am now a proud owner of a [Swift Orange Raptor]. :)

Effort and determination make a powerful combo.

I am revered with kelgor to, took a week to grind, but my mage is getting exalted for some epic ring reward after patch =) So need around 3500 texts

I'm going away soonish into a bit of unactivity, else I'd go through the Revered > Exalted, grinding. :(


I believe there are some quests you can do from the Dwarfs in the South Encampment for some kind of Tokens, to turn in for rewards, in the upcoming patch. As you get more tokens, you also need more reputation to turn them in. :)

I've been Revered for a while now, spent all the Texts I could grind to turn-in to the Hermit, he has since sent me a couple of Scepter Beckoning scrolls, and these I spend when my Guild has an Event with the Royals (Tier 3 Elementals, Lords/Princes, whatever) in Silithus.
The Scepters allow us to have an 'selective' farming on the bosses that spawn, we really prefer Baron Kazum, as he drops a very nice Epic tanking shield, one of the best in the game currently.

We got two happy tanks wielding it so far. :)

I stopped giving in Texts for Reputation, I have, however, already gotten about 1000 Reputation just from defeating Royals. :D
